Géni-Métal offers quality control services for the manufacturing and/or erection of metal structures. We are regularly mandated to represent engineering firms or owners in various projects throughout Quebec or elsewhere. Whether for building projects such as the Musée National des Beaux-Arts museum, World Trade Center Tower 3 or port projects such as a boarding ramps, we are qualified to ensure that the quality is present in the manufacturing and that standards are followed. With Géni-Métal staffs' varied certifications, we have the knowledge to represent engineering firms.

A quality audit typically checks for:

-The qualifications of the fabricators and the subcontractors (company, welders and WPS);

-The right materials are being used (mill certificates);

-The right procedures are being followed (welding codes, architectural codes);

-The certifications and competence of external inspection personnel;

-Coating inspection (paint, galvanize, metallize) and;

-That building tolerances are being respected (verticality, camber, bolt torqueing).

We also offer bolting procedures that meet the requirements of organizations such as the Ministry of Transports and a follow-up on the worksite by the engineer that signed the procedure.
